Here at Blossom homecare we have an exciting opportunity available and are looking for Home Care workers and Senior Home Care workers to work in the community supporting adults to carry out daily tasks which they may not be able to manage independently.

Blossom Home Care is an Award winning, family business providing 'just bloomin' good care' to the elderly, and other adults, with home care requirements.

We are truly passionate about and totally committed to delivering high quality care and support, tailored to the individual's needs and preferences.

We understand that to do this we need to recruit the very best carers so we pay a minimum £12 per hour, every hour to carers, plus 30 per mile along with other benefits.

We offer short or long term care to clients in their own home and our emphasis is on a holistic approach to care that fully meets the needs of the client and does, where possible, include helping them to continue to participate in the social activities that can make a real difference to their life in general.

The job role is therefore varied but is likely to include personal care, administering medication, collecting prescriptions, preparing and assisting with meals and supporting people living with Dementia / Alzheimer's / End of life care and support.

Blossom's aim is to give you set shifts, visiting the same clients, around the usual morning, lunchtime, teatime and bedtime rotas so the regular contact with clients builds the extra knowledge and awareness of client needs that sets Blossom above the rest.

Currently delivering high standard, compassionate care.

Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills with the ability to work as part of a team or on their own.

Due to the nature of the job you will be required to hold a full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle.

*We are committed to the inclusion, safeguarding and promoting the welfare of adults at risk*Together we can Make Care Matter.
