Title of Job:
Polisher


Department:
Polishing Shop


Reports To:
Shop Floor Manager


Main Purpose of Job:
To perform polishing operations in various materials to meet customers quality requirements.

You will be asked to undertake test of competency


Key tasks:

  • To Comply with health and safety policy
  • Responsible for regular maintenance of machines and equipment
  • Responsible for ensuring route cards are filled correctly
  • Responsible for area housekeeping
  • To carry out linishing and polishing operations
Hours of work

Day shift

7.00am-5.15pm Monday -Thursday

7.00am-12.00pm Friday (you will be expected to commit to overtime for Business need on Fridays)


Additional Duties
The individual has the responsibility and authority to ensure customer requirements are met.

The Quality Office is to be informed promptly of products and processes that do not conform to customer requirements.


It is the nature of the work of the company that tasks and responsibilities are in many circumstances unpredictable and varied.

All employees are therefore expected to work in a flexible way, when the occasion arises, including occasional evening and weekend work.


These additional duties will normally be to cover changes in work and will normally be compatible with the regular type of work.


Job Types:
Full-time, Temp to perm

Contract length: 12 weeks

From £13.00 per hour
