A vibrant and dynamic primary school based in the M13 area are looking for Behaviour Mentors to provide 1:1 support for pupils with Challenging Behaviour.

This is a full-time role to start ASAP.


The pupils are in need of special needs teaching assistants/behaviour mentors who are adept at building strong relationships and can be a positive role model and mentor.

Behaviour Mentors with Team Teach training or other de-escalation training is highly desirable.

PAY - £90 - £110 a day


The role:

  • 1:1 Behaviour Mentors/Special Needs Teaching Assistant working with Primary students with Challenging Behaviour
  • Providing academic and pastoral support
  • Full time, (Mon-Fri)
  • Experience dealing with SEMH or challenging behaviour
  • Ideally Team Teach trained (other deescalation will be considered)
  • Ability to build a strong, respectful rapport with young people
  • Resilient and able to remain calm under stressful situations
