Runcorn
Contract
£10.60 per hour

Our client is looking for an experienced Local Public Health Support Officer.

To work as part of the Halton Outbreak Support Team to provide public health advice and support. The role will work across a number of areas. This will include elements of contact tracing and telephone management of a caseload during outbreaks. Supporting with community testing when required. Engaging with local communities and local businesses to deliver health prevention messages. Encourage local residents with the uptake of vaccinations for infectious disease.

You will need to have a flexible approach to working in order to respond to the needs of the service which will be a mix of homeworking, office based and also working in the community when required.

There may on occasion be a requirement to work evenings and weekends.

Experience of working with members of the public in a customer service or related role.

Experience of working with a team.
Good working knowledge of Local area

Understanding of Equal Opportunities and how it can be applied to this role.

Knowledge of Microsoft office

Ability to work under own initiative and to interpret information in an effective manner

Ability to work under pressure
