Pickfords are looking for a dynamic
Sales Assistant based at our
York Self Store.


Pickfords is a fantastic national brand that specialises in removals and storage, offering a full range of professional removals and storage services for home and business.

This is a part-time position of a minimum of 6.5 hours per week, to be worked on Saturdays.


JOB PURPOSE:


  • To assist in the daytoday running of the Self Store facility, giving a friendly and professional service to our customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Manage customer accounts through our computing systems, Space Manager.
  • Respond promptly to all customer enquiries and efficiently provide solutions to secure conversion in to sales.
  • Maintain and manage financial aspects (cash handling, banking, admin, and customer account management).
  • Key holder/alarm callouts.
  • Be responsible for the health and safety of self and visitors under the Health and Safety regulations.


The role relies on you being able to work without supervision, so it is important that you are happy to work without supervision, and under your own initiative.

  • Sales Skills.

From £9.50 per hour
