The Role
As a Security Officer based at the client site your duties will include the following;
- Manage access / egress of the client site.
- Deliver high levels of customer service.
- Patrol the client's facility and deal promptly with any suspicious incidents which may occur onsite.
- Respond to incidents for all common areas and inside the clients units when called upon for assistance.
- Escalate or report any incidents to the appropriate persons: Communications Centre/Linemanager/Client/Police when absolutely necessary.
- Whilst working nights, respond to any intruder alarms and assist when necessary.
- Write reports for any incidents or daily occurrences.
- Deal with any visitors to site in a polite and courteous manner.
- Log and report calls from or for the client and ensure that the required information is escalated to the relevant persons.
- Operate the CCTV network cameras and maintain the videotape management system.
- Deal with general queries made by the customers/ general public or client as and when necessary.
About You
- Previous security experience
- A valid frontline security guarding, door supervision or close protection SIA license
- Knowledge and experience with security systems and other related tech
- Great attention to detail and a consistent approach
- A team player with good customer service skills
