Our client an independent accountancy practice is seeking a partner designate to join their firm in Chichester.

Due to the pending retirement of one of the partners, our client is looking to recruit a qualified ACA/ACCA with a minimum of 3 to 5 years post qualification.

The position will involve being responsible for a mixed portfolio of clients, including several in the agricultural and the property sector.

The audit clients (around a dozen) are mainly charities.

Turnovers range up to £10M, although most are in the range £500K - £3M.

The fee split is around £50% corporate accounts/tax, 5/10% audit, 15% sole trader/partnership, 10/15% private tax, 15% payroll/bookkeeping.

You will also be mentoring and training a junior member of staff, as well as assisting other areas of the business as and when required.

There is the opportunity to buy an equity stake in this well established and very professional firm.
