Due to continued growth, we now have an exciting opportunity for a
Field Quality Assurance Lead to join our team based in South West England.


About the role:


As our
Field Quality Assurance Lead, you will be responsible for driving quality improvements across our field-based engineering teams to ensure we deliver excellent service to our customers.

Visiting sites across our region, which stretches from Land's End to St David's and across to the M3 corridor, this highly customer-facing job will primarily involve auditing completed field engineer works with a clear objective of driving continuous improvement.


Hours of work are generally 40 hours/week Monday to Friday, between 08:00-17:00, but some flexibility around start and finish times may be required along with occasional nights away from home.

It is anticipated that you will be field-based 4 days per week with 1 day working from our HQ in Newton Abbot or from home.

Your base location is flexible but the successful applicant will ideally live in the central zone of our region.


Your main duties as our
Field Quality Assurance Lead will include:

  • Taking the lead on field quality and providing advice and support to our Heads of Department and Field Supervisors.
  • Undertake Inspections and Audits across all functions of the field team to establish compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and analysis of the quality performance of the business based on the inspections and audits completed.
  • Review Quality information to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Monitoring and regular review of our Supply Chain field quality performance.
  • Highlight areas of strength and best practice in quality so that other teams may adopt and benefit from them.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with all key stakeholders and subcontractors.
  • Undertake investigations of poor quality, identify the root cause, and create action plans to prevent recurrence.
  • Driving continuous improvement programmes through effective analysis, process audits, and collaborative activities.

What we're looking for in our ideal Field Quality Assurance Lead:

  • Proficient in the use of CRM Systems and O36
  • Previous experience within the Facilities Management sector
  • Customer and clientfacing experience
  • Experience in compiling specifications and workflows
  • Excellent communication & soft skills
  • Desire and passion to deliver bestinclass service and quality
  • A passion for detail and benchmarking standards
  • A clear appetite to take the lead in timesensitive situations
  • Ability to Lead, Coach, and Inspire
  • A proactive approach to problemsolving
  • Flexibility and adaptability in working environments

Education and Qualifications
Essential

  • GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above (or equivalent)
  • Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable

  • Lead Auditor Certified to ISO900
  • Completed Trade Qualifications
  • Completed Apprenticeship Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Quality Control Practices
