An exciting opportunity to join one of the most forward thinking, innovative and proactive Therapies teams in the East of England has arisen

This vacancy will be working with the Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy teams across the Colchester Hospital Site.


It offers the opportunity to rotate within therapies to clinical specialties such as Respiratory Medicine, Vascular surgery, Orthopaedics, Medical wards, Older peoples services, and Emergency medicine.


We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Therapy assistant to work with the team to assess, treat and complete referrals for a wide variety of patients.


You should have experience of working in rehabilitation ideally within a NHS setting, be enthusiastic and keen to work with the Therapies team to provide an excellent service.

You will need to have good communication and organization skills, be a team worker and able to use your own initiative.


You will be supported by qualified therapists, working within a competency framework and will be given all necessary training for the job.

You will manage your own workload and participate in team and service development.

You will be expected to work weekends and approx 1 in 5 as part of our 7 day service.
