About the role
An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Assistant to join our expanding Marketing and Communications team. The Marketing Assistant supports the Marketing and Communications Team with internal and external communications, event support and general administration.


This role supports with day-to-day management of internal communications to students and staff, as well as creating and disseminating the University College's keep warm communications for our applicants, receiving a variety of briefs and writing news stories from across the University College.


The post holder is also required to support the broad range of events managed by the University College both on and off campus.

Events include open days, applicant days, campus tours, UCAS exhibitions and Graduation, working closely with our Student Ambassadors.


About the person


We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable individual who will work on a range of marketing activities at AECC University College.

Previous Marketing and office experience would be advantageous.

  • Good written skills and an interest in writing
  • Good organisation skills and confidence when speaking to others about our offer at AECC University College
  • An interest in being an ambassador for the University College at recruitment events
  • Enthusiasm, a good eye for detail, a conscientious attitude, and excellent organisation and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to multitask and prioritise your workload.
