Responsibilities:


  • Create a safe, engaging, and enjoyable learning experience.
  • Foster positive interactions to build confidence and selfesteem.
  • Assist the class teacher and provide support in classroom activities.
  • Offer 1:1 and small group support to students with their learning.
  • Willingness to carry out personal care duties as required.

Requirements:


  • Availability to work Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
  • Recent experience in supporting children or adults with additional needs.
  • Immediate availability to start as a Youth Support Worker.
  • Willingness to undergo a child and adult DBS clearance through Lara Search.
  • Happy to work with students with a range of additional needs including SEMH, complex needs and autism.
