We're looking for a Service Manager for a unique and interesting Supported Living Service, near to Watford.

Delivering supported living, and a range of meaningful day opportunities such as a working farm, bakery and arts and crafts centre, this is a fantasticplace for people with learning disabilities to live a life of opportunity.

As a Service Manager, you'll plan and oversee the delivery of support and care to people with learning disabilities, and effectively inspire and lead a staff team, empowering them and giving them the tools to deliver excellence.

As a Service Manager you'll be responsible for;

The daytoday management of highquality, responsive care service to people living across a number of supported living properties.
Planning and organising the delivery of care and support by your team, ensuring that there are uptodate personcentred needs assessments, support plans, risk assessments in place and that they are regularly reviewed to ensure they meet the changing needsof the clients.
Effective management and leadership of Team leader/s and Support workers.
Maintaining excellent relationships with the local authority, CQC, healthcare professionals and client's families.
For the Service Manager role, we're looking for somebody with experience of managing teams within a social care setting, ideally multisite supported living.
You'll probably have worked in a position such as Service Manager, Deputy Manager, Cluster Manager, House Manager, Supported Living Manager, Registered Manager, Senior Team Leader or similar before. You might be a Team Leader who is keen to progress yourcareer.
You'll have experience of and be passionate about working with people with learning disabilities and a range of support needs.
Ideally, you'll hold the QCF level 5 / NVQ 4 in Social Care Management or equivalent, but not essential, as you'll have the opportunity to undertake it
