Business Strategy Director, Digital Wallets


Reporting to the SVP of Strategy, Delivery and Insights, Digital Wallets, the Business Strategy Director, Digital Wallets, will be responsible for leading all strategic engagements within Digital Wallets and supporting the SVP and other senior executives in preparation for high-stakes internal, board and investor meetings.


Strategic engagements will focus primarily on where, how and why to grow in a consumer-centric way, with a focus on the "play" space, including iGaming, digital assets, streaming / online gaming, travel & entertainment, and retail / hospitality.

They will also cover off internal projects, for example, to improve process or drive efficiencies across the business.


What to expect

  • As part of a lean, highperforming strategy team, manage pipeline, scoping, launch and delivery of Digital Wallet business strategy consulting projects
  • Deploy the scientific method to solve business problems, breaking each problem into its constituent parts and ensuring rigorous and rightsized quantitative or qualitative analysis to prove / disprove prevailing hypotheses, with support from company SME's
  • Navigate a wide range of business problems to research, develop and deploy tailored methodologies where needed
  • Ensure a clear pathway to strategy delivery upon completion of each project, including buyin from relevant stakeholders and signoff on requisite budgets
  • Build and manage relationships with the insights team, the delivery team, the planning manager and stakeholders throughout the business to deliver your objectives, while rolling up your sleeves to get the work done
  • Support high stakes executive deliverables for the board, investor relations and ExCo.

To be successful you need to have

  • A minimum of 3 years of toptier consulting experience and minimum of 5 years of overall work experience in related fields (e.g., corporate strategy, finance, accounting, etc.)
  • Exceptional problemsolving skills, intellectual flexibility and the ability to pick up new concepts quickly
  • A strong propensity to datadriven recommendations and high consumer centricity
  • Strong communication skills, including PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong internal motivation and an ability to bring the best out in those around you
