Responsibilities & Criteria
We are currently recruiting for a unique opportunity.

Over the course of the last eleven years, Dalriada, part of the 3173 Group, has been appointed as Independent Trustee to over 110 schemes where The Pensions Regulator had concerns as to how these schemes were being managed.

Up until November 2020, where any loss was suffered by these schemes, there was a limited means of compensation for members and in some cases, members faced losing all of their pension benefits.

We have recently been working with the Pension Protection Fund ("the PPF") in respect of these schemes to seek clarification around the operation of the Fraud Compensation Fund ("the FCF"), to determine if a claim could be submitted to the FCF for compensation.

This means that we must now prepare data, review member benefits, carry out forensic accounting research to ensure that our data is accurate, draft member communications and liaise with third party professionals in the event that a claim on the FCF, on scheme-by-scheme basis, is successful.

As such, we are looking for intelligent, creative and professional individuals who are seeking to thrive in a successful company and be part of this unique and exciting exercise.

You will be required to carry out the following roles:

  • Complete member reconciliation work
  • Managing member data, including forensic reconstruction of member records
  • Member tracing
  • Review scheme documentation including member files
  • Understand how members were encouraged to transfer in
  • Analyse information relating to possible liberation
  • First point of contact for members across all channels
  • Point of contact for client managers, legal advisers, TPR case team, HMRC and TPO
  • Levy payments, including liaison with ICO and TPR
  • Scheme Returns
  • Work with client team to provide evidence of dishonesty
  • Calculate member benefits
  • Work on wind up of schemes, including transfer of benefits and member communication
