Our prestigious, market leading client are looking for a Caretaker to be responsible for the up keep of their state-of-the-art premises in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a local person to join a great company in a varied role that will play an integral part in the day to day running of the business.

The successful applicant will be offered a full-time, permanent position on an attractive salary with excellent benefits package.

Responsibilities:

To manage the maintenance and cleaning of building including, cleaning of communal areas, dusting, sweeping, cleaning bathrooms, emptying bins, using scrubbing machine on floor in factory, and other general cleaning duties
To manage the maintenance and upkeep of the building: Lighting; flooring; bathrooms; doors; canteen; and other maintenance as required
To manage the security of the building: Alarm system; CCTV system; door access system; emergency lighting; key holder management; main security contact
To manage maintenance contracts such as, grounds men, window cleaners, security company, pest control, vending machine and drink machine providers
To manage waste: shredding; hazardous waste; washroom waste; toner recycling; battery recycling
To support business requirements for events and visitor groups in the building
Other caretaking duties as required

Experience:

Full driving license essential
Prior security training and experience (desirable but not essential)
Trade knowledge (plumbing, electrical, joinery etc.) (desirable but not essential)
Building and grounds maintenance
Contract management
Commercial Cleaning (desirable but not essential)
