Role Description
We are looking for a Data Analytics Lead to join our Accelerator businesses of Rollover and Oakhouse.


You will be responsible for the data platform that delivers high quality data analysis, insight and reporting that improves business performance and customer experience.


You will partner with business stakeholders to transform the existing data and reporting platform, ensuring that it is a fit-for-purpose platform and data capabilities to meeting future business requirements.


You will need empathy to gain an in-depth understanding of your stakeholders, what is important to them and how they will interact with your data products; you'll need the engineering skills to build and maintain our data platform (SQL) and data visualisations (Power BI); and you'll be adept at making the complex simple.


This role is a hybrid role and will be required to be in the office 3 times a week and you will be required to travel to both offices in Slough and Chippenham.


Key Accountabilities

  • Designing, building and enhancing the data warehouse that enables us to deliver our future analytics, personalisation and reporting use cases.
  • Collaborating with senior stakeholders to understand and prioritise their needs, analysing the data requirements and delivering the required reporting, analytics and insight.
  • Giving leadership and coaching to your team of Analysts, ensuring that they are creating high quality data insights and visualisations that enable users across the business to act on the teams' insights.
  • Training and upskilling your stakeholders to feel more confident and empowered accessing and interpreting data to inform their decisions.
  • Being an advocate of best practice in the use of data engineering, analytics and insight to be able to show how the Data Strategy is directly benefiting the business.
  • Collaborating with the Business Systems team to build the data warehouse and data pipelines and to automate manual data processing.
  • Keeping up to date with data analytics competencies, tools, techniques and best practice.

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in a similar role essential
  • Proven experience using SQL and Power Bi
  • Good attention to detail
  • Be able to communicate at all levels
  • Be a good communicator
  • Be a strong leader and lead by example
  • Be able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
