Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Transport Planner to join our team.

The Transport Planner will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing transportation activities to ensure efficient delivery of goods for a fleet of waste vehicles.

Responsibilities:

Organize and plan transportation routes for timely delivery of goods
Communicate with drivers, suppliers, and customers to coordinate deliveries
Monitor transportation costs and work towards cost optimization
Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies
Utilize computer systems to track shipments and update information accurately
Manage inventory levels to meet customer demands
Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly

Requirements:

Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Excellent communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders
Knowledge of supply chain processes and logistics operations
Fluency in English for effective written and verbal communication
Prior experience in transport planning or a related field is advantageous

This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your skills in organization, communication, and logistics will be key to ensuring smooth transportation operations.

Hours require flexibility across Monday - Friday and every other Saturday morning.
