Due to continued growth, we have been instructed on an Accounts Semi Senior or Senior opportunity on behalf of a progressive firm of Chartered Accountants in Darlington.

The role would suit an AAT or ACA/ ACCA Student working in accountancy practice looking for a varied role, career progression and an excellent work life balance.

You will be working with a varied and interesting client base from an array of sectors with a focus on SMEs and OMBs, providing accounts and tax services.

There will be exciting opportunities to progress through the ranks with a tailored personal progression plan.

The Role:

Preparation of statutory accounts under FRS102
Corporate tax computations
VAT returns & bookkeeping
Management accounts preparation
Advising/ training clients on accountancy software
Attending client meetings
Dealing with client queries

You:

AAT Qualified or ACA/ ACCA Student
Good foundation in accounts prep & bookkeping
Excellent working knowledge of FRS105 & FRS102
A strong background in accountancy practice
Good communication skills
