We are looking for a second assistant SENDCO to join our dynamic SEND leadership team


This is an exciting opportunity to join a team that is developing its expertise in supporting students with special educational needs.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about improving the educational journeys of young people with SEN.


A good understanding of special educational needs and strategies and previous experience of working with young people with SEN is preferred.

The role is to assist the SENDCO in co-ordinating the provision for SEN students and will include:


  • Oversight of provision mapping
  • Line management of team members
  • Raising profile of SEN students and liaising with parents and staff to ensure effective support
  • Liaising with outside agencies
Training will be provided as necessary.


Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time

Part-time hours: 28 per week


Salary:
£18,809.00-£20,819.00 per year
