Overview

The
Administrator for the Share Incentive Plan (SIP) Team will be based at our fantastic office in the centre of Leeds on a 12-month fixed term contract.

The Administrator will support the administration of SIP Transfers, in addition to any other associated tasks for the SIP Transfers and Custody area.

You'll liaise with brokers to arrange trades and settle the movement of stock, in addition to completing stock withdrawals and dealing with transfer outs from Share Incentive Plans (SIP's)


What you'll be doing:


  • Taking responsibility for the execution of transfer requests for the Share Plans we administer, ensuring you adhere to departmental procedures, HMRC, Stock Exchange and FCA guidelines and Trustee Rules
  • Escalating any client money related issues immediately so that relevant action may be taken to stop or resolve a breach
  • Ensuring cash differences are highlighted by regular bank account reconciliations, stock differences aged <8 weeks are highlighted during monthly stock reconciliations and transfer requests are settled within 8 weeks of the original request being received
  • Filing updated sales, transfers and purchase paperwork and ensuring they are archived

What we're looking for:


  • Share Plans experience would be extremely advantageous
  • A team player with demonstrable administration skills
  • The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines within a supportive team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to speak with internal colleagues, external clients and SIP Participants to create and develop strong, positive and engaging working relationships
  • Financial Services experience would be great
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all situations
  • An understanding of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and an ability to learn new systems
  • Selfunderstanding with the drive and desire to improve your own core skills and knowledge
