As a
Production Support Specialist, you'll assist with supporting key production systems and users to enable GNM to meet publication deadlines for all print and digital products.
_Shift pattern:
_
_ 15.00 to 01.00 and 17.00 to 03.00 Monday to Friday; 09.00 to 19.00, 13.00 to 23.00 and 17.00 to 03.00 on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays. Based on a 4 x 10 hr shift in a 4 on and 4 off pattern._About the Role
- Troubleshoot and fix production critical software and hardware issues
- Develop a good understanding of business workflows and tools to provide efficient and effective response to users
- Provide relevant and timely feedback to users, you'll be the first point of contact for users between weekdays), weekends and bank holidays)
- Solve user tools issues i.e. InCopy, InDesign, MediaPlanner, Titan and internal production systems
- Take ownership of and complete tasks in SysAid queue (Service Management tool)
About You
- Experience working on a technical helpdesk
- Knowledge of Unix and MacOS
- Customer service experience and confidence dealing with a wide variety of people working under pressure
- Strong problem solving skills, proactive and confident in taking initiative
