Named Carer - Days


Contract:
Permanent


Hours:
Full Time 38.5 Including alternate weekends.


Salary:
£10.50 to £12.00 (Depending on Qualifications and Experience)

Somerhill Care Home, Little Somerford, Nr Malmesbury, Chippenham, Wiltshire SN15 5BH.


We are looking to recruit enthusiastic, caring and passionate individuals who would like to join Cedar Care Homes in the role of Named Carer.


As a Named Carer you will be working within a Team of people from different backgrounds and with different set of skills whose goal is to provide the best quality care to the residents in our homes.

Being a Named Carer, like every role has its challenges but it is a rewarding role that will give you sense of satisfaction and accomplishment.

Moreover, you will never be alone as you will always work with other members of team who will support you and guide you when necessary.

  • Respond to the daily requirements of allocated Residents according to their individual care plan, habits and lifestyle.
  • Maintain the overall wellbeing and safety of residents.
  • Enable Residents to maintain their leisure and social interests.
  • Contribute to the admission process of allocated residents.
  • Contribute to the care management of allocated residents.
  • Support and assist residents in allocated suites with their personal clothing, belongings and other requirements.
  • Assist in inducting, supervising and supporting Care Assistants.

Required Skills, Abilities and Experience:


  • Enthusiasm and Energy
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to make decisions and prioritise workload
  • Must have 1 years Care experience along with an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care
    OR:
  • At Least 2 years Care experience.
