Business Analyst - Ecommerce (12 Month FTC)

The Role


The Business Analyst (BA) is responsible for capturing and defining requirements whilst enabling new functionality to be built into Deckers brands ecommerce websites globally with special attention to regional nuances.


Deckers ecommerce infrastructure is continuously evolving and it is crucial to ensure all requirements are captured and built in line with business needs and industry best practice.

This role will be working closely with EMEA and US stakeholders as partof a Global Delivery team supporting the e-commerce backlogs.

This role will also perform Scrum Master activities and work along product owner and other scrum masters globally. This role will require excellent knowledge of the scrum framework, with all its artifacts and techniques.


Your Impact:


  • Champion the products within the work streams amongst stakeholders from around the business, to ensure that all new developments integrate effectively
  • Promote scrum/agile methodologies across the wider team and stakeholders
  • Utilise Jira and confluence for project planning, business requirements and user stories.
  • You will facilitate Scrum ceremonies like Sprint Planning, Retrospective, Backlog refinement.
  • You will focus your team on delivering secure, quality working software sprint after sprint, utilising a shared definition of done, and will leverage metrics to help team improve.
  • Be familiar with the brands and different product offerings, specifically for the more technical Hoka products and ensure changes are relevant to these product fundamentals
  • Gather and understand the needs of the business and translating them to the tech teams, providing clear and concise documentation clearly communicated to the relevant stakeholders

Who You Are

  • Motivated selfstarter with high energy levels and passion for the Internet medium
  • Detailoriented and capable of delivering a high level of accuracy
  • Confident with the ability to develop relationships across the business at all levels and also challenge where necessary
  • Ability to measure performance and make concise decisions based upon data and/or research
  • Proactive ability to work independently and contribute in a team environment

We would Love to Hear from People with:

  • Experience working as Business Analyst within an E-commerce team on projects and initiatives.
  • Experience working as Scrum Master within an Ecommerce team development team
  • Experience with tools such as JIRA, SharePoint, and confluence
  • Strong computer skills including MS Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work with external agencies and partners.
