Light Vehicle Delivery Driver

Are you an experienced Driver with experience of towing trailers?

Zeus Personnel are recruiting for a well-established Plant Hire company to recruit a Light Vehicle Delivery Driver to be based at their depot in Northwich.

You will be working alongside the plant & fleet services team, who are responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of equipment.

Role and Responsibilities:
This is an important support role for our Depot.

The role will be customer facing and you will be responsible for the delivery and collection of high value construction plant equipment.

Responsibilities to include:

Delivery of plant equipment and collection of plant equipment
Safe loading and unloading of plant equipment.
Customer liaison before arriving on site.
Strict adherence to all sitespecific and depot protocols
Reporting any damage to Plant equipment upon collection
Reporting any accidents, no matter how minor that occur whilst carrying out duties.
Helping ensure the yard remains clean and tidy.
Help with the preparation & cleaning of vehicles.
Must hold a towing and current drivers' licence.
Previous loading and securing of plant machinery advantageous.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work confidently and safely unaided.
Strong reporting ability

Knowledge of the Plant Hire industry (would be advantageous)

Location:
Northwich

Monday - Friday: 7:30 am - 5:00 pm

Every Other Saturday Needed

Salary:
£12 P/H (Negotiable)

To Start:
As soon as possible
