Do you have a passion for working in Environmental Protection?

Applicants are invited to join our dynamic and friendly Environmental Protection Team, who have a passion for helping people, improving the environment and improving the lives of Derby residents?


We are looking for an enthusiastic, capable officer who can work effectively on their own, as a member of a team and without close supervision.


You will be confident and self-motivated, well organised, have excellent communication skills, able to use computer systems, and keep accurate records.

Duties and responsibilities include the investigation of air quality related complaints and enforcement action. Participation in and assisting with the organisation of the Section's Air Quality monitoring programme as required. Plus assist in the preparation of bids to secure funding from Central Government or other relevant funding sources.

A full driving licence and use of a car is essential.
