Geography Teacher Vacancy based on the Wirral

Ofsted rated 'Good' Secondary School


Responsibilities:


  • Planning and delivering engaging and effective Geography lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
  • Assessing, monitoring, and reporting on students' progress and setting targets for improvement
  • Collaborating with other teachers and departments to develop and implement a wellrounded curriculum
  • Encouraging and motivating students to participate in class discussions, projects, and other learning activities
  • Maintaining accurate records and using assessment data to inform teaching and learning

Requirements:


  • A bachelor's degree in Geography or a related field
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Proven experience teaching Geography to KS3 and KS4 students
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment
