As a great Yard/Warehouse Operative at Saint Gobain Distribution you will be responsible for maintaining a safe working environment, operate safely in designated, mechanical handling equipment.

Achieve targets in loading unloading, storing and handling of goods as defined by the company. This is a busy role working Monday-Friday with additional overtime available. What will I be doing in the role?

Our Yard/Warehouse Operatives are really important to our success and a critical part of our customer's positive experience with us.

To support our customers effectively you will;

Pick and load vehicles accurately and efficiently
Maintain and observe Health & Safety and housekeeping standards at all times
Ensure all routine checks are completed accurately within the designated timeframe
Achieve and contribute to Health and Safety targets Contribute to overall customer service and satisfaction Commit to learning and developing within the role
Positive attitude within the working environment
Good communication skills and attention to detail
Ability to work on own initiative and within a team environment Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload
A good practical understanding of Health and Safety
