There is an exciting new role within the Change & Transformation Team for a Head of Programme Delivery providing oversight of programme delivery and benefits realisation across the Change Improvement Portfolio reporting directly into the Director of Transformation.
You will drive and co-ordinate the successful delivery of multiple programmes of work, ensuring alignment with GMP's strategic priorities, together with a strong focus on benefits realisation in order to achieve sustainable service improvements, efficient ways of working and improved outcomes across all areas of the force.
You will develop and lead transformation delivery expertise for GMP with line management responsibility for the Strategic Change Programme Managers, Senior Business Readiness Officer, and external consultants, supporting the programmes and projects within the portfolio to manage interdependencies, deliver change, and meet strategic objectives through effective programme and project management guidance and best practice principles.
You will work with the Director of Transformation to ensure there is a clear change roadmap for GMP together with clearly defined plans, benefits and KPIs.
You will lead and manage the timeliness of programme delivery activities and maintain effective oversight of spend against agreed programme budgets.
Working directly with the Director of Transformation, you will ensure all areas of GMP's Change Portfolio are designed effectively using high quality portfolio management practice.
You will represent the Change and Transformation Branch and the Force with external stakeholders and regional/national bodies including Local Authorities, the Mayor's Office and the Home Office.
