Salary:

Overview of the role:

A local manufacturer are looking for a Senior Quality Engineer to join their team in Milton Keynes.

**Senior Quality Engineer

  • Roles/ Responsibilities*
  • In charge of ensuring the quality of the assigned supplier commodities.
  • Ensure smooth running and completion of supplier audits.
  • Use problem solving skills including 5WHYs and 8D to determine the RC and provide solutions to the quality problems.
  • Maintenance and support of the ISO9001 QMS.
**Senior Quality Engineer

  • Skills and Experience**
    Essential Skills/ Qualifications
  • Hold a recognised engineering qualification such as HNC, HND or BEng.
  • Experience training/ directing Quality Engineers and Quality Technicians.
  • Qualified auditor (internal or lead).
  • Strong knowledge of ISO900
  • Confident in PPAP/APQP quality tools.
  • Strong problemsolving experience including 5WHY and 8D.
  • Must be able to promote team working and demonstrate leadership skills.

Desirable Skills/ Qualifications

  • An understanding of Six Sigma (DMAIC) would be beneficial.
  • Experience with Design FMEAs and Process FMEAs.
