Description
The Head of Football is a vital role for the Sports Curriculum at the College.

The Head of Football is responsible for the teaching and training of students in the Football Academy and other client groups and for the development of the Football Academy courses.

They are the lead contact with partner organisations.
**Your duties


You will predominantly manage and coordinate up to 200 footballers/students across Further Education and Higher Education, including the management of sub-contracted coaches.

You will lead and develop the Football Academy to continue its success and provide excellent opportunities for our learners.


This will also include teaching sessions; however, the majority of the role is coaching and management of the Football Academy.

It is, therefore, desirable although not essential to have previous teaching experience. Coaching experience, ideally gained within the education sector, is essential for this role.

  • Experience of leading a Football Education programme competing at National Level
  • Experience of managing staff
  • Experience of working within the Sports Industry
  • Experience of working within the HE/FE sector
