Tempest Education are working with an Ofsted rated 'GOOD' school based in Oldham who are seeking a Teaching Assistant to support in KS1.

The position is to start ASAP and to continue through until the end of the academic year, with the potential to go permanent for the right person.


About the role


Working as a Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include supporting the class teacher with the day to day activities within the classroom.

Duties will include supporting pupils on both a group and 1:1 basis while providing a safe and fun environment for all pupils to thrive.

Creating and maintaining a purposeful, orderly, and supportive environment, in accordance with the lesson plans and assist with the display of pupil's work.

You may also be required to assist in break and lunch time observations and attend staff meetings.
