Senior BA (Cyber / Information security)London
Investigates operational requirements, problems and opportunities, seeking effective business solutions through improvements in automated and non-automated components of new or changed processes.
Works on a number of projects or as part of a larger Programme, providing business analysis skills to help the projects/programme deliver and achieve its defined business objectives.
Work with the operational business units to define requirements covering the functional, non-functional and data requirements for business and/or system changes.
Key responsibilities:
- Take responsibility for investigative work to clearly define business problems that will
- Assist stakeholders' understanding of a potential project/programme of work, Plan and document own analysis approach and support other BA's where needed.
- Use agreed standards and techniques or define new where needed to demonstrate how
- Analysis tools and models help to add value when defining business requirements.
- Works with 3rd party suppliers and senior business stakeholders to identify effective
- Undertake appropriate stakeholder analysis at all levels of seniority and ensure appropriate approval for analysis and requirements artefacts is completed.
- Facilitate scoping and business priority setting for large or complex changes, engaging
- Determine business requirements and specify effective 'to be' business processes,
- procedures and organisation change.
- Specify and document business functional & nonfunctional requirements for assignments
- delivery & testing phases.
- Analyse business alignment and work with clients/users to define acceptance criteria that ensure the business requirements are fully met.
- Take responsibility for the investigation and management of changes to project or programme scope and identify the impact on business requirements of internal scenarios (e.g. migration) and external impacts affecting a programme or project as well as the required end position and be able to present this effectively to all stakeholders.
- Undertake quality checks and peer reviews of analysis documentation and models to ensure consistency and maintenance of standards across the BA community.
- Use techniques to map complex new business processes spanning multiple business
- significant change programme to assist stakeholders in understanding the difference
- between 'as is' & 'to be' models.
- Lead discussions about the choice of the modelling approach to be used for a large
- Project/programme.
- Obtain input from and communicate modelling results to senior managers for agreement
