Currently, we are seeking a talented individual to join our Skills Coaching team, contributing to a transformative apprenticeship experience that focuses on the individual growth of our learners.

As a Skills Coach, you will have the opportunity to support a group of passionate and ambitious leaders and managers, providing them with personalised coaching and guidance.

By conducting regular progress reviews, you will tailor their learning experience to align with the development of core apprenticeship KSBs, while also addressing their unique aspirations and desires to enhance their roles within their organisations.

This role goes beyond the traditional responsibilities of an apprenticeship assessor, as our Skills Coaches work collaboratively with our marking team, Functional Skills tutor, external support service, and onboarding team.

You will have the opportunity to dedicate a Study Day per month to your professional development, including the possibility of pursuing a Chartered Management Institute qualification.

Upon completing your Diploma, you can also attain Chartered Manager status.

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing exemplary coaching, support, and motivation to a cohort of adult learners, ensuring their apprenticeship progresses timely and maximizing their learning outcomes.
  • Developing robust plans for each learner's unique learning journey, showcasing deliberate and wellstructured progress from their starting point.
  • Integrating both onthejob and offthejob learning components into the learners' development journey.
  • Tailoring additional support and catchup solutions to meet individual needs and personal goals.
  • Engaging line managers in the learners' progress and conducting quarterly progress reviews to strategize and document new skills and behaviors.
  • Encouraging learners to enhance their business math and English skills throughout the apprenticeship, with the support of the Functional Skills Tutor.
  • Preparing learners for the endpoint assessment gateway.
  • Ensuring learners fulfill offthejob learning requirements and meet the standards' expectations.
  • Proactively engaging and reengaging learners who may be falling behind in their learning.
  • Participating in Apprenticeship Team & Standardization meetings.
  • Proactively working to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) related to learner progress, achievement, and outcomes.
  • Regularly updating and maintaining learning records on our elearning platform.
  • Fostering a passion for learning and effectively engaging with learners from diverse industries and backgrounds.
  • Inspiring and motivating learners to set ambitious goals and achieve success in their learning.
  • Ensuring a rewarding learning experience for all learners at KnowledgeBrief.
  • Promoting awareness of safeguarding principles and policies and adhering to them.

Required qualifications and skills:

  • Business, Leadership and Management qualifications or relevant industry experience (Level 5 and above).
  • Familiarity with management and leadership apprenticeships.
  • Minimum of GCSE A*C in both English and Mathematics.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated initiative and proactive approach to problemsolving and implementing ideas.
