Toddington Nurseries is a member of the Farplants Group and from its modern nursery at Barnham produces over 2 million garden plants per year for sale to Garden Centres and Waitrose.
The Company is seeking to employ a tractor driver to be responsible for driving a tractor and trailer to deliver plants to the Farplants Finishing Centre.
This involves a short trip from the nursery on a public road to the Finishing Centre. This is a physically demanding role with loading and unloading trollies as an integral part of the duties. Full training will be given.Normal hours are 39 per week however flexibility will be required to meet deadlines and workload. Weekend working is necessary at times during the busy season.
General nursery duties will be undertaken during quiet periods.
