About the Role:


The role of a Medical Receptionist is to be responsible for undertaking a wide range of reception duties including supporting our patients and the clinical team.

Duties can include but are not limited to meeting and greeting our patients in a friendly, approachable, and welcoming manner, answering the telephone and booking appointments along with signposting patients to the most suitable appointment for them.

Dealing with patient queries on the telephone and face to face.

Liaising and building relationships with all departments and external organisations in accordance with current policies and guidelines, along with always communicating effectively and efficiently.

The Medical Receptionist is expected to be team player, act with integrity and lead by example with excellent customer service, communication, and adhering to our policies and protocols including patient confidentiality

General Practice experience and knowledge of SystmOne is desirable. Customer Service experience is essential for this role

Some flexibility is required, as you will sometimes need to work additional or alternative hours to cover for colleagues.
