Description

A Senior C++ Systems Engineer is now needed for a Derbyshire based company who are innovators within digital display technologies.

The company has a global presence in a variety of markets worldwide with their head office based in the UK.

As their Senior C++Systems Engineer you will be working on a variety of projects in different industries from delivering products on a global scale.

As their Senior C++ Systems Engineer you will have an excellent understanding of Linux Multithreaded and multiprocessing embedded programming working with Networking protocols such as TCP/IP.

You will be programming in C++ within an Embedded Linux environmentand working on the full product lifecycle leasing with the Software and Electronics teams within the business.

You will also be defining and documenting the software architecture for the design and development for the company.

**Core skills for this role include: - **Experience of Modern C++ development on Windows or Linux.
Practical experience of Direct3D 11, OpenGL 3+, Vulkan and HLSL or GLSL shader development.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Practical knowledge and experience of platform debugging techniques.


Desirable Skills:

Knowledge of Windows kernel and Windows device drivers.
Knowledge of Linux system programming or kernel module development.
An interest in hardware development, electronics and computer systems.
Practical experience of working in an Agile/Scrum team.
Practical experience of version control systems such as Git or Microsoft Azure DevOps (TFS)
