An 'outstanding' nursery school in Lambeth are looking for a qualified and experienced Nursery Teacher to teach across the nursery with a particular focus on supporting children in the nursery with identified Special Educational Needs

The Role

This role has become available due to a high number of children both in - 3 and 3 -4 room with Special Educational Needs.

In order to ensure these children are receiving the support they require, the school have chosen to employ an additional teacher toprovide more dedicated teaching and learning opportunities with a specific focus on meeting their needs.


Your role will include:

  • Teaching in the main nursery school with a focus on supporting SEND pupils
  • Writing and updating individual SEND plans
  • Liaising with parents on progress and development plans
  • Working with centralised SEND support teams in Lambeth
This role is offered on a contract basis initially until July 2023 and is paid to scale (MPS). The role is part-time, and the school can accommodate a teacher either 3 or 4 days a week.


The School


The Nursery School offers term-time education from - 4 years old and is part of a federation of nursery across the borough of Lambeth.

They run as a school and therefore are only open during term-time and school hours.

At their most recent Ofsted (spring2019) they achieved outstanding and are a very popular choice of nursery for the local community.
