We have

an opportunity for you to join the team working at one of our schools where

your dedication to the role will enhance the children's learning environment. Carr Infants School, Acomb,

York is a friendly family orientated school where the children learn about good

behaviour and respect to others.

Working for NYC as a Caretaker, you will be responsible for

the security of the building, responding to emergency call outs as well as

ensuring outside areas are kept safe and clean. You will support the maintenance

of the building by checking and replacing light fittings, assisting with minor

repairs and replacing consumables. You will support the training and

development of Cleaning Assistants on site as well as assist with cleaning

duties as directed. Full training will be provided. The opening time is no

later than 7am finishing at 9:30am, lock up time is no earlier than 6:15pm, totalling

to 20 per week over 5 days. For this you will be paid £10.90 to £11.39 per hour.
