RetrofitWorks is on a mission to improve the energy efficiency of East Sussex' housing stock and this role is instrumental in successfully delivering these retrofit projects.

The Retrofit Project Administrator will support the Project Manager in delivering a high quality service to customers whilst adhering to all contractual and regulatory requirements.

You will be required to support the growth of the RetrofitWorks cooperative by working with future and current members, who will be local SMEs that deliver the retrofit project in East Sussex.

What will you be doing?
As well as being passionate about energy efficiency and retrofit, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing an excellent service to customers having their homes renovated and dealing with all queries in a timely manner that builds loyalty and company reputation
  • Liaising with contractors and retrofit coordinators to ensure they're delivering against the required brief
  • Treating all customers with respect at all times, including the vulnerable and elderly
  • Ensuring all data and administration is up to date and organised effectively, ready for external auditing
  • Communicating with contractors and clients in a simple and effective manner and ensuring they're informed of retrofit progress at all times
  • Assisting the Project Managers with the resolution of complaints and maintaining a high level of customer service
  • Complying with the Data Protection Act and ensuring the security of personal information
  • Liaising with the Finance department to ensure that invoices and payments are processed promptly and efficiently

The role of Retrofit Project Administrator would suit someone who thrives on delivering high levels of customer service in a fast-paced and high volume work environment.

With great administration, analytical and organisation skills, having experience in the construction/retrofit industry would be an advantage but we are keen to hear from you if you have transferable skills outside this sector.

We are seeking someone with a positive, can-do attitude who enjoys communicating with people at all levels to ensure the project is delivered in a successful and timely manner.

In order to succeed, you will need excellent communication and administration skills with the ability to respond quickly to customers' needs.

Some knowledge of retrofit or grant funding would help but if you're passionate about energy efficiency and a fast learner, then this would also be great.
