RM Recruit are working with a fantastic Birmingham based organisation who are seeking to hire a Finance Assistant on a 4-month Fixed Term contract.

This role will support the Finance function in ensuring the effective running of accounts payable. You will also be responsible for completing supplier payments, supplier invoices and the account payable inbox. Ideally you will be immediately available or available on short notice.


Main duties include:

  • Processing supplier invoices
  • Chasing purchase orders and goods receipting
  • Managing the accounts payable mailbox
  • Checking expense claims against the financial policy
  • Processing expense claims for payment
  • Preparing and checking supplier payment runs
  • Dealing with supplier queries
  • New supplier reviews
  • Age creditor reports
Our client is able to offer a flexible, hybrid working environment.

It's important to note the first month of the role will be solely office based to ensure sufficient training, followed by a, hybrid working environment, with the flexibility to work half the week remote working.
