Tax Senior to join the tax team.

Key responsibilities of the
Tax Senior role will include:

preparing tax returns for individuals, partnerships and trusts

- preparing forms R40
- dealing with client queries and HMRC enquiries
- involvement with capital gains tax
- managing own portfolio of clients
- preparing P11Ds
- identifying and implementing tax planning opportunities
- at least 2 years relevant accountancy practice experience in tax

ATT qualified

- strong client relationship skills and the ability to nurture existing clients
- ability to demonstrate technical breadth
- excellent time management skills and able to work to deadlines and under pressure
- ability to explain complex tax issues in plain English for all levels of understanding
- confident dealing with HMRC on a technical level
- technical proficiency and good IT skills, specifically intermediate Excel
- previous experience of CCH is an advantage
- knowledge of trusts and estate tax an advantage but not essential
