Digital Marketing Officer - South Manchester (Hybrid Working) - £27,000 - Non-Profit

As the Digital Marketing Officer, you'll support the Head of Online in the implementation of the digital marketing strategy to deliver strategic business objectives - acquisition of new supporters, conversions, engagement, and retention of existing supporters.


Key duties and responsibilities:


  • Play a key part in data driven optimisation of digital channels and campaigns, to provide a compelling digital and use centric experience, acquire new supporters, increase income and engage and retain with our current supporters.
  • Contribute to the development of new digital functionality, maintaining technical and accessibility standards.
  • Implement digital marketing strategy across digital channels in the UK.
  • Development and content management of the website, improving UX across website to improve conversion.

What they're looking for:


  • Degreeeducated in a relevant field e.g., Digital Marketing
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in digital marketing is essential.
  • Experience working at an NGO is desirable.
  • Experience working in ecommerce is desirable.
  • MS Office Suite.
  • Analytical programmes such as Google Analytics (GA) and Google AdWords is essential.
  • Social media monitoring and listening tools such as either Hootsuite, Tweetdeck, Buzzsumo or Klout is essential.
  • Experience in website management and maintenance and Content Management Systems (CMS) is desirable.
  • Photoshop or any design programme is desirable.
  • Fluent English is essential. Additional languages such as Arabic, Urdu are desirable.
