We are looking to recruit an experienced and talented CAD designer to use AutoCAD and MagiCAD.This is an office based roleand situated in the heart of The Cotteswolds.


The CAD Designer role will involve:

  • Actively working with the sales team to support the design for building developments and client liaison including site visits.
  • Production of ventilation design drawings
  • Liaising with clients and sales team
  • Producing heating analysis reports, ventilation requirements / schematics, undertaking heat loss (energy) calculations (can be trained).
  • Visiting clients to expand our onsite knowledge of their requirements and discussing products from design through to installation, to surpass building regulation requirements.
  • Assisting clients move towards a goal of zero carbon emissions.
The successful CAD technician will be: Very practical, possibly from an architectural background

  • Any knowledge of building, thermal dynamics and heating analysis would be advantageous
  • Any knowledge of heating from warm air delivery through to convective warm air source and radiant heating pumps would be advantageous.
  • Able to work on your own initiative and work with the sales team
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to deliver results for high end customers and confidence to liaise at all levels.
  • Driving licence essential
  • Experience of AutoCAD or MagiCAD essential.
  • SAP (standard assessment procedure) qualification advantageous.
You will have a passion for building, architecture and design.

This s a permanent position, the remuneration package will be between £32-£35,000.This is an award winning company that is expanding with great prospects for the right person.
