Minchinhampton Golf Club boasts a rich history of over 130 years and features three exceptional golf courses. Renowned not just for its outstanding courses, the club is also highly regarded for its cuisine, top-notch customer service, and meticulous attention to detail for both Members and Visitors.
Main Purpose of Job
A crucial aspect of this role involves engaging with Members and Visitors at the Club, ensuring that the highest standards of customer service are consistently upheld in accordance with the MGC Customer Service Charter.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete all tasks necessary for the daily operation of the Bar and Front of House areas, including cellar work such as keg/barrel changing, stock management, and maintaining cleanliness.
- Interact with Members and Visitors, upholding excellent customer service standards.
- Report any faults or breakages to the appropriate manager.
- Ensure proper recording of daily procedures.
- Assist in stock management and ordering through designated suppliers.
- Handle till reconciliation, money handling, and clubhouse security.
- Adhere to Health & Safety and Fire regulations.
- Remain flexible and assist in various areas as needed.
- Support food service operations directed by the supervisor.
- Maintain bar equipment and coffee machines.
- Communicate professionally with Members, Suppliers, and Staff.
- Participate in required training sessions.
General Duties
- Ensure the bar is fully prepared at the start of each day.
- Set up food service area as required.
- Provide efficient and courteous service of drinks and food items.
- Maintain cleanliness in all Front of House areas.
- Clear tables promptly and maintain cleanliness.
- Proper disposal of waste and cleaning glassware.
- Follow cleaning schedules diligently.
- Operate Barista machine and coffee machines efficiently.
- Prepare dining areas for events.
- Conduct end-of-day clear down.
