Teaching Assistant x 7 vacancies

Contract Fixed contract

Hours 32 hours and 30 minutes, 39 weeks per annum

Times 8.45am - 3.45pm
- weekly meetings start at 8.40am

Days Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

Actual salary range:
£19,261 - £19,578 p.a. inclusive (Scale 3)

Contract end date 31st August 2024

Waverley School is a large, Local Authority maintained day school in Enfield, North London. Our pupils are aged 3-19 with severe and profound learning difficulties.

We are located on three sites.

We have an exciting new opportunity and we wish to recruit a number of teaching assistants to work with pupils with severe and profound learning difficulties.

Would you be interested in supporting children and young people to reach their potential? Could you help teach them to be as independent as possible? Are you calm under pressure? Do you like to work with others in a small team? If the answer is yes, please apply.

Proven skills and abilities of working with children is desirable and within similar environments would be an advantage. Possibility for contracts to become permanent.

Training is given to all staff in Child Protection, Manual Handling, communication strategies and other training relevant to the post.
