We have an opportunity for a Fixed Term Case Officer to join the Quality and Standards Team but in a role with a difference

As a Case Officer working alongside people with a wide range of disabilities you will be responsible for co-ordinating and conducting reviews and audits of care and support provision.

These will be completed by viewing supported living houses holistically which can provide a clearer overview of where needs can be met creatively.

We are currently supporting community teams with statutory reviews but future working will focus on auditing packages of care and delivery of hours that will be used to inform reviews moving forward.

We are looking for a person who will:

  • inspire and create partnership working
  • Can evidence person centred practice and leadership
  • Encourage conversations that will promote further independence for those we support
  • Embrace challenge and change
  • Use a wide range of knowledge to support the team in ensuring we are achieving the best outcomes for both the individual and KCC.
This will be a fast-paced environment with people that are committed and confident, if that's you then apply.

The Quality and Standards team are part of the countywide specialism and work across the whole of Kent.

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position.

The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements.

The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
