Directorate - Adult Care Housing & Public Health

Permanent, 30 hours per week

We have an exciting opportunity to join the Adult Social Care Business Support Team in the role of Business Support Officer.

The post holder will provide administrative and technical support to the Adult Social Care service and its customers. The post holder will provide a high level of flexible administrative support which includes professional minute taking.

This role will be required to prioritise workloads, plan and allocate work effectively and efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines.

Shortlising will be based on the criteria listed below:

Demonstrable experience of producing and maintaining accurate and up to date records.
Significant experience of minute taking within a professional and confidential environment
Excellent administrative and IT skills
Experience of undertaking fact finding processes and resolving complaints about the service.
Highly developed communication skills to support the gathering of comprehensive information from the customer or their advocates / carers over the telephone or face to face to ascertain the nature of their contact and determine what action are required.
