An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to undertake the role of Roads Policing Process Support Officer.
Working in a large team, you will support the processing of road traffic offences issued by Essex Police, from recording, through to identifying offenders and then disposal by way of educational courses, conditional offer or prosecution.
In addition, your roll will include the following:
View downloaded camera offences ensuring that they meet the requirements for prosecution and discontinuing the offence where appropriate.
Where required, support the wider Road Crime Unit in areas of demand by undertaking processing support work outside of the immediate department.
Support and resolve queries from members of the public; deal with queries in a fair and professional manner, escalating more complex or serious issues to the appropriate team leader, and being aware of any potentially fraudulent activity.
Maintain a good understanding and work knowledge of systems to support interrogation and navigation to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
Input and retrieve data using police systems efficiently and accurately meeting the required performance levels, working at times under pressure to complete work volumes.
