We have an exciting opportunity for a Part Time Accounts Assistant to join a busy and friendly Accounts Team, supporting with the day-to-day activities of a busy Accounts department.
The role is part time (25 hours per week), with flexible start and finish times. There is potential for the role to increase to full time hours in the future.Part Time Accounts Assistant Key Roles and Responsibilities
Main duties:
- Sales ledger invoices and receipts processing
- Uploading sales invoices to customer portals
- Purchase ledger invoices processing if required
- Communication with customer and supplier accounts if necessary
- Any other tasks as required to assist the finance function
- Scope for credit control if time permits
The successful Part Time Accounts Assistant will have the following skills and experience:
- Experience of working in an account's role
- Excellent working knowledge of accounts systems such as Sage 50
- Ability to deal with high volumes of work.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent computer skills including Outlook, Excel and Word.
- Excellent organisational skills including the ability to prioritise tasks to increase productivity.
- The ability to work as part of a wider organisational team.
- Be able to pass a full enhanced disclosure (DBS).
In return you can expect to receive a basic salary of between £16-18,000 for the 25 hour a week contract, flexible start and finish times can be discussed at interview stage.
