As a Bank Swimming Pool Supervisor, you will be helping run a well-loved and long established local institution - the heated outdoor pool at the RUH Bath.

You will be a safety conscious person, with an ability to work with people in a dynamic outdoor environment, as well as having good administrative skills and an ability to perform tasks on a computer.

The open season is from April to October, but you will be expected to also do some admin work on the off-season to reflect on the last year and prepare for the next year.


Main Duties:


The main duties of the role are to manage the delivery of the day to day operation of the swimming pool, manage training and provide support to a team of Pool Attendants, enabling them to work independently and safely, working some Pool Attendant shifts yourself, and supporting the Swimming Pool Manager with administrative duties.


About us:

The RUH Pool Team is a small team within the Facilities Division at Bath RUH. You will report to a Swimming Pool Manager, where you will both manage a team of 5-6 Pool Attendants.

The RUH Pool is a much loved local institution, set in a beautiful outdoor location under the hills surrounding Bath, and has been providing wellbeing support to the employees of RUH Bath, as well as the local public, for decades.
